Welcome to Abild Hotel

Abild Hotel is located on highway 11, just 4 km north of Tønder in the beautiful South Jutland, just 10 km from the German border.

At Abild Hotel we offer:

Use our location as a starting point for trips and excursions to:

  • Tønder, Denmark’s oldest market town. Visit the Tønder Museum and Art Museum or wander through the beautiful pedestrian zone in mid town.
  • In December, you can enjoy the Christmas market of Tønder – Visit Det Gamle Apotek (The old pharmacy).
  • Also visit the UNESCO heritage og the National Park Wadden Sea where scenic Rømø is located.
  • In the Wadden Sea National Park at the Danish-German border, lies the bicycle route Vestkystruten, which is a part of the North Sea Route, the world’s longest cycling route.
  • Experience black sun, where hundred of thousands of sterlings create an extraordinary show in the sky, and don’t forget to go on a seal safari in the Wadden Sea.
  • Visit Ribe, Denmark’s oldest town, where you can experience Ribe Cathedral and the historic old streets and alleys.
